Not an Essencial Palette

Hey it’s G,

Since I loved reviewing Anastasia’s Modern Renascence Palette, I decided to review another one of my palettes, Naked 3 by Urban Decay. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to share my opinion on this palette with you, hope you enjoy it. Personally I like the palette it has a nice variety of colors and the shades are pinkish, they go well with my tan skin. But I am not very crazy about it. Some people love the palette and consider it one of the best eyeshadow palettes out there but I disagree. There are other eyeshadow palette with a better color collection, texture, and price.

The palette comes in a rose gold case, case-size mirror, and a double-ended shadow brush. Inside the case there are 12 shades. Most of the eyeshadow shades tend to be on the rose-pink scale. The shadows are called Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, and Blackheart. Strange is very light pink, lighter that baby-pink color. I like wearing this shade on my eyebrow bone. Dust is another shade of pink, a metallic pink to be specific. It looks very nice when you blend it with Stange. Burnout is a peachy color, blends well with all the shades on the palette. Limit is a matte baby-pink shade. Buzz is a metallic antique-rose-bronze combination. While Trick is a light metallic rose-bronze color. Nooner is a light pink shade with a hint of brown. Liar is a mauve shade, but not an overpowering mauve color, kind of like a medium between purple and lavender. Factory is a brown color with a hint of pink, making it a few shades darker than Buzz. Mugshot is very close to Factory in color but it is more like a grey-rose color. Darkside is greyish-mauve shade, it is grey with a tiny amount of mauve. Finally Blackheart which is simply a black color with pink glitter.

I think that the shades are a Halo Clique with everyone. It has a nice rosey-pink shades, but nothing else. I mean all the shades are on a rose color scale, even the black shade had pink in it. The colors makes the palette usable all year round but for the price I would recommend getting something else. I am not saying that it is overrated or anything, I am just saying if you don’t have one, there is no need to get one. I am sure there are other palettes that would fit you better.
